Academic term - enhanced The learning capabilities of a diverse group of american children by providing a challenging curriculum, taught almost exclusively in spanish, chinese, or japanese. Success in this program will provide life-long confidence and will create a truly International citizen, able to thrive and compete in a globalized environment. Approximately 376 students benefitted from this 9-month program.
Extended day program - provided continued student enrichment through supervised activities in music, art, dance, and homework support. Approximately 123 students benefitted.
Summer camp - provided a rich and challenging summer camp environment for american children to develop skills in spanish, chinese or japanese, creating more confident and productive children that will retain, expand, and reuse The skills learned for years to come. Approximately 427 students benefitted.
The School sponsors The deloris a. Spear center for excellence in teaching (The spear center) which aims to serve as The hub for educational innovation and professional learning through workshops and conferences with world-renowned educators.
