Program areas at International Society of Dermatology
Continental Congresses and REGIONAL MEETINGS - To facilitate the exchange of information among the global community of dermatologists. By co-sponsoring various national and regional dermatological meetings, the ISD intends to increase the awareness of ISD among dermatologists worldwide and to highlight the national and regional dermatological communities by PROVIDing EDUCATION AND INFORMATION TO THOSE IN ATTENDANCE ON DEVELOPING TOPICS OF DERMATOLOGY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.In addition, ISD supports various Regional Meetings by issuing Travel Scholarships to various world wide dermatologic organizations to attend various Regional Meetings and conferences.
Membership services - the Society provides benefits of membership inclusive of newsletter, data base,membership reference and other reference tools for members and non-members can learn about dermatological topics and member locator to discuss specific issues in Dermatology.
INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF DERMATOLOGY - Published monthly, the International Journal of Dermatology is specifically designed to provide dermatologists around the world with a regular, up-to-date source of information on all aspects of the diagnosis and management of skin diseases. Accepted articles regularly cover clinical trials; education; morphology; pharmacology and therapeutics; case reports, and reviews. Additional features include tropical medical reports, news, correspondence, proceedings and transactions, and education.
