Intrepid College Preparatory School

Intrepid College Preparatory charter School is a high performing charter School educating students in nashville's lowest income and most educationally underserved communities in southeast nashville. Our mission is to equip all students in grades five through twelve with the academic foundation, financial literacy, and ethical development necessary to excel in selective colleges, earn professional opportunities, and demonstrate positive leadership. The School has grown from a campus serving 84 students in fifth grade in 2013 to a campus serving approximately 860 students in grades five through twelve. On the 2022 tnready state assessment, Intrepid achieved the third highest growth in the city in 8th grade science, the seventh highest growth in the city in 7th grade science, and the 11th highest growth in the city in 7th grade math. Intrepid earned level 5 growth ratings in both ela and science on the 2023 tnready state assessment. In 2022, the first year interpid students tool the ap spanish exam, 61% of students scored a 4-5, and 94% of students scored a 3-5. 2023 independence academy seniors have been accepted into 66 colleges and universities across 22 states with over 230 total acceptances.
