Program areas at Iowa and Minnesota Campus Compact

Recognition program - Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact held its annual recognition program where instituions participate by nominating students, staff, faculty, and community partners. Eighty-five entities and invidividuals were honored at the 2023 program for extraordinary civic and community engagement leadership. See schedule o for additional program languageamericorps programs - Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact facilitates two americorps programs serving member campuses and community organizations in both states. The iamncc vista community corps strives to eliminate poverty through campus-community partnerships by placing full-time capacity building support in higher education institutions and nonprofit organizations. The iamncc civic leaders americorps program focuses on retention of college students who identify as first-generation, low-income, and/or students of color. Campuses utilized members to develop and implement peer-mentoring and near-to-peer mentoring for their students. Coalition building and learning programs - Iowa & Minnesota Campus Compact held four network gatherings for staff and faculty from the network to learn and build relationships beyond their campuses. Iamncc also convened a presidents leadership academy featuring rich harwood in november 2022 and a special learning event for staff and faculty also featuring rich harwood on the same day.
