Program areas at Iowa Innovation Learning Center
Museum - for one and all: science can intrigue anyone from the youngest of kids to the most seasoned explorers.the early childhood exploration area provides entertainment for children 2-8 years old. This area includes: prehistoric tunnel, classic and restored science Center exhibits.the elementary gallery is designed for ages five and up, entertaining the masses with interactive exhibits. These exhibits are ever-evolving and offer a true discover and delight environment. The following exhibits are ready for discovery: optical illusions, sound and light, dna, brain games, magnetics, levers, and electricity.
Summer camp: camp programs are great ways for kids to keep their brains active during school breaks. The camp setting offers opportunity for Learning, fun, community building, and socialization. Our camps are filled with hands on stem based Learning and led by a professional education team. Science Center camps provide a great value and many of our camps offer all-day care options.
Education - Learning through science: the science Center has exciting hands-on Learning experiences for all ages. Attend one of our great programs for a true hands-on Learning experience that is sure to stem-u-late the imagination. Current programs include preschool power hour, lego league, homeschool science club, and cub and girl scout badge labs.
Makerspace: the makerspace provides hands-on activities for all ages. This area allows for Learning through the experiences of others that have skills in areas that include; woodworking, metal shop, electronics labs, 3d printing, cad applications, art, and other hand craft areas.
