Program areas at Ironmen Sports
Player development - the organization provides a development program for eleven teams of dedicated youn baseball players (10-17 years old) in the louisville, ky and southern Indiana area. At the end of 2015, approximately 120 youth participated in a year round program that includes instruction, strength and conditioning training, and a comprehensive spring, summer and fall schedule of league and tournament games against the best competition in the area. This program helps payers realize their goals and enhances their oportunities to compete at the highest level. All aspects of development are addressed including the physical and mental skilss required for success.
Indoor / outdoor facilitites - the organization provides indoor/outdoor practice facilities for the teams in its development program and to other local teams, instructors and athletic organizations. It leases the indoor facilities and outdoor baseball fields to provide this program service. Our goal is to break even on the facilities so we may provide the necessary training for our devlopmental teams to compeate on are regional or national basis. The local teams, instructors and athletic organizations that use our facilities are independent of of our organization and are responsible for their own records and reports. Our organization does offer these independent entities the opportunity in our fundraising program to reduce their costs for using our facilities. Over 250 youth have access to our facilities at a very reasonable cost.
