Program areas at IPSF
Classroom and health support for the Irvine unified school district (iusd). Funds were granted to iusd to provide extra teachers and instructional assistants to mitigate the effects of larger class sizes, to provide and support music and science instruction, to provide mental health resources, and to provide athletic trainers and nurses, affecting all 36,500 students in the district.
Afterschool classroom enrichment (ace)enrichment and academic classes offered before and after school at 27 Schools in the district serving 5,400 students.
Summer enrichment academy (sea)enrichment and academic classes offered to k-12 students during the summer, serving over 6,500 students.
Ipsf provides a variety of additional enrichment and support programs to the students and teachers of Irvine unified school district including the innovative grants program providing grants to teachers and counselors, the instrument rental program, spirit of community, parents appreciating teachers and staff, the science and math initiative, cubesat, the middle school and high school initiative including counseling support, Irvine talks, the fine arts initiative, and oc steam fest providing activities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.
