Program areas at Island Park PTA 2915
Student support/education/enrichment a back to school fundraising campaign in the fall provides funding for field trips, assemblies, artist-in-residence, school equipment and supplies, great books program, 5th grade graduation, art showcase, authors fair, art docents, reflections, science projects, scholostic magazines, and other student assistance. The support financed by the program is available to all students and teachers at Island Park elementary.
Publication and distribution of a monthly newsletter to every school community involvement and communication: Island Park family (approximately 600 issues per month); publication and distribution of the school directory to every student; funding for the annual open house, the international night and other socials; funding of emergency kits/preparedness; various parent education programs.
