Program areas at Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank

Food Bank market shopping and emergency Food: our free fresh foods and dry goods market is open 4 days a week, every other week, and we provide emergency Food services to anyone who seeks our resources during business hours. In 2023, 2745 households were served through our market and emergency Food program. Groceries to go: for individuals and families experiencing barriers to accessing our market, volunteers provide home delivery of personalized grocery orders every other week. In 2023, we made 5235 deliveries to 290 households. Clothing services: our Clothing services include providing emergency Clothing to our unhoused neighbors with over 500 emergency Clothing services provided in 2023. In 2023, 885 coats were distributed to adults and teens through our annual coat event, and we distributed Clothing bundles to 415 children through our kidvantage partnership.
Case management and client services: our case management and client services provide comprehensive trauma-informed assistance to neighbors needing help navigating complex systems and accessing basic resources to gain greater stability. Through these services, in 2023, 125 neighbors received mail at ifcb, 245 case management and resource services were provided, 35 neighbors received specialized financial assistance such as assistance with vehicle repairs or rental assistance.
Youth programs: we have several programs designed to serve pre-school and school-aged children. Our power packs program sends students in the Issaquah school district home with kid-friendly Food every friday. 13,500 power packs were distributed to students in 2023.every summer we have a summer lunch program where we provide families with a weeks' worth of breakfast, lunch, and snacks. In 2023, 315 familes were served by summer lunch. During all the week-long breaks from school (fall break, winter break, spring break), we offer lunch for the break, whereby we provide Issaquah school district students with a week of breakfast, lunch, and snacks. We served 355 over the three school breaks. In december, we host a once-a-year event that provides families with gift cards as well as added holiday treats and supplies. The holiday gift card event served 1915 children in 2023.
