Program areas at Issaquah History Museums
Communications: Continued our social media communications to keep patrons and others informed about Issaquah history. Completed a redesign and launch of our website to improve usability.
Museums & Exhibits: Developed and displayed an all-new exhibit in the Depot museum to celebrate our 50th annniversary. The Gilman Town Hall museum remained closed, awaiting some building renovations and additional staff to develop an all-new exhibit. Launched our first virtual exhibit about the Issaquah Sky Port.
Collections: Cared for the more than 40,000 items in our collection, including physical artifacts, documents, maps, photographs, and more representing Issaquahs history. Processed new gifts into our collection and maintained two online catalogs and library reference material in support of historical research.
Re-opened our store within the Depot museum, and launched the search for a new Director.
