Improving forest health on private lands: to continue the efforts on private land to meet the goals of the natural resource conservation service's working lands for wildlife program and increase populations of golden - winged warblers and associated forest bird species in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia.
Decision support tool for managing working forests: continuation - pheasants forever - us dept of agriculture - to continue regional landscape analyses that consider forest spatial information in combination with priority species needs. The product is a decision-support tool.
Fullbright dai 2022: continuation - irex - dept of state - to continue offering the fulbright distinguished awards in teaching program for international teachers to provide both a rural and urban school field experience and be introduced to a realistic picture of american k-12 education allowing them to experience the depth and complexity of the united states beyond those molded by a media or textbooks.
Other exempt purpose accomplishments: with funding from the southwestern pa commission - us department of commerce, the program is to transform the regional workforce system, and remove entry barriers to allow historially excluded communities - including people of color, women, rural residents, and residents of coal communities to access the family-sustanining and wealth-building careers of this new economy of robotics and artifical intelligence (ai). The result will be an enchanced workforce development tool kit to expand the robotics and ai talent pool and facilitate connections between upskilling and career pathways, particularly those who have historically experienced high barriers to participation.
