James Lenox House Association provided enriching direct services to its residents during fy 23 through its resident services program. The Association provided exercise classes, music concerts, a computer lab, social work staff, a registered nurse who visited residents weekly, covid-19 and seasonal flu vaccine vaccination clinics, a first-floor library with well-stocked books, fraud prevention seminars, weekly happy hours, and more. "aileydance for active aging," our dance partnership with alvin ailey american dance theater, remained a popular resident program that fostered a sense of community, helped prevent falls, and furthered resident artistic expression. We continued to keep our residents safe in fy 23, and no resident has died from covid-19 since the pandemic began.
House program: James Lenox House Association enhanced the physical attractiveness of James Lenox House through its House program. The Association maintained the common areas of the building - the living room, beautiful outside patio and garden, hupper room and common hallways - in a warm and inviting fashion so our residents enjoy the experience of living at James Lenox House.
