Provided financial assistance such as rent, mortgage, car or utility payments to 19 families in financial distress due to a child dying of terminal pediatric cancer. The families chosen to receive financial assistance were determined to be in distress by the team of oncology social workers caring for the patients within a hospital system. Payments were made directly to providers.

Provided funds to support sports opportunities for children who would not otherwise have access to them. This includes the building of a pool in an under-resourced community to provide swimming lessons, scholarships to a school year and summer basketball clinic and after school lacrosse clinic at high-need elementary school.

Provided essential support to under-resourced public school, assisting children/families in financial distress as determined by the individual school. Items include school uniforms, laptop computers for graduating seniors going on to college or higher education, vans providing transportation to and from after-school programming, an ice-cream truck to celebrate students ending the school year who have earned the honor of advancing to the next grade level and more.
