Our mission at the Janzen House is to provide transitional housing and shelter for low income and homeless individuals. With the cooperation of other local agencies we are also able to assist residents in securing employment, permanent housing, etc. Non-profit housing provided free or at a nominal charge to people who were unable to find housing elsewhere. Number of people housed and length of stay varies considerably. Non-profit housing for the homeless.

Program areas at Janzen House

The Janzen House rents rooms and provides board for 25 guests at a nominal rate. We also have 6 to 8 beds in an emergency shelter that are occupied on a night to night basis. Since we began operations in 1984, we have provided more 300,000 nights of shelter.
