Japanese American Citizens League San Jose Chapter supports the preservation efforts of Issei Memorial Building as a birthplace of the Japanese American community here in San Jose by providing for communities a place to meet and work for the community & future generations. It preserves and maintains the historical building, Issei Memorial Building, as appointed and trusted non profit basis custodian by the San Jose Japanese American communities. It also conducts activities for members education and outreach activities for civil rights activities for seniors.
