Atrium Health Foundation - Grant to open the state-of-the art, 17-bay Jeff Gordon Childrens Foundation Infusion Center at Levine Childrens Hospital to allow for the administration of Phase I clinical trials, Dendritic Cell Vaccines, and many other new immunotherapies for pediatric cancer patients.
Childrens National Hospital Foundation Grant to launch a novel phase II clinical trail where pediatric patients with relapsed/refractory solid tumors and a least two sites of disease will receive the checkpoint inhibitors nivolumab and ipilimumab prior to undergoing cryoablation to one tumor site in hopes of creating a new and safe treatment for patients with pediatric solid tumors who have exhausted all other options.
