Description
Jewish Grandparents Network engages, educates and celebrates grandparents as an essential influence in Jewish family life. Our program achievements include launching a web-based platform called "The Family Room" where we share resources and activities for grandparents, grandchildren and family members. We also actively engage grandparents and family members through social events. We welcome grandparents from all backgrounds and traditions and embrace the diversity of today's Jewish families.

Program areas at Jewish Grandparents Network

Website: JGNs website provides a broad range of resources and activities for grandparents and their families in a broad array of areas including inter-generational relationships and dynamics, holiday observance, and well-being for family members. Webinars and Seminars: JGN offers free monthly webinars on a broad array of topics including addressing the difficult emotions of children and grandchildren, helping grandparents who live far away from their grandchildren and enhancing their relationships with their adult children. Social Media and Email: JGN invests significantly in social media in our Facebook Group and Page. The Facebook group provides a valuable opportunity for over 4,500 grandparents to share concerns, stories and resources. Regular email blasts provide families updates on upcoming initiatives and resources for all family members. The expenses are simply part of our Website Development, Marketing, and Facilitators expense. We don't break them out for these projects. We generate a small amount of revenue from program registration fees. In 2023 that amount was $1,800
