Program areas at Jewish Millennial Engagement Project
the Den Collective held Jewish programs, Jewish holiday celebrations, Shabbat gatherings, and Jewish learning sessions. Examples include Awakened Heart: Shabbat Morning Holistic Experience; Just Breathe: Wisdom & Wellness; Selichot: Havdalah and Singing Circle; Knead to Know: Challah Bake; Interfaith Couples Learning Cohorts; Women's Learning Circle; Jewish Couples Learning Cohorts; Parashah (Torah) Study & Discussion Group; and New and Expectant Parents' Learning Circle. The organization updated its website to meet the needs of living during a pandemic. The rabbis performed life-cycle events, including wedding ceremonies, conversions, baby-naming ceremonies, and home dedications. The rabbis engaged with the community in one-one-one interactions for pastoral care, life-cycle support, and Jewish education. With two full-time rabbis, each based in a different area, the Den Collective deepened its reach throughout Montgomery County, Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
