Jobs for Mississippi Graduates assists at-risk and disadvantaged youths in graduating from high school by keeping them in school through graduation and providing work-based learning experiences that lead to career advancement opportunities or enrollment in a postsecondary institution. The program's primary goal is to prevent dropouts and help students obtain an entry-level job leading to a career or pursue further education. Over 1,700 students in 36 high schools are served by JMG.
