The Joel Fund mission is to reconnect veterans to life at home. Operation connect provides financial assistance for housing, education, transportation and other necessities along with a safe space for them to meet. Operation art brings art classes to the veterans in the community as a way to share experiences and communicate during their transition from military to civilian life.

Program areas at Joel Fund

Operation ART is a community arts program, aiming to provide an expressive outlet for emotional wellbeing in the lives of veterans and their families. We seek to connect veterans and their families with peers in their community through the power of art.
Operation Connect provides opportunities for those we serve to connect with resources and their peers through various activities and one-on-one interaction. Through community partnerships, The Joel Fund creates warm referrals to resources across North Carolina to veterans and their families.
Operation Furnish provides direct economic impact through in-kind donations of household furnishing. We help build financial stability in the lives of veterans and their families after experiencing homelessness or crisis.
