The 2022-2023 school year marked the 3rd year for Jordan High School's Marching, Symphonic and Concert Bands. The band grew to 137 students. The Jordan HS Bands have advanced quickly to be top performing 6A school bands in the State of Texas. The Marching Band performed at ten football games and participated in five competitions. The Symphonic and Concert Bands performed twice in the school year. The Booster Club provided funds via fees, donations and fundraising to cover costs for costumes, instruments, show props, equipment, clinicians, technicians, food and beverages. The revenue shown in 4a is fees collected from student's parents.Booster Club volunteers provided services such as chaperones, costume alterations, pit crew, feeding students, photos.
Indoor percussion consisted for 15 students for the 2022-2023 school year. Indoor percussion performed at six competitions between January and April 2023. The Booster Club provided funds via fees, donations and fundraising to cover cost of costumes, instruments, clinicians, food and beverages. The Color Guard consisted of 19 students for the 2022-2023 school year The Color Guard performed at all football games and particpated in all Marching Band competitions and seven Winter Guard competitions (January to April 2023). The Booster Club provided funds via fees, donations and fundraising to cover cost of costumes, equipment, clinicians, food and beverages. The revenue shown in 4b is fees collected from student's parents.Booster Club volunteers provided services such as chaperones, costume alterations, feeding students and photos of events.
