The organization's program is that of providing primary Health care services including the grant revenue from the ryan white program. This is done under the direct supervision of the federal government, department of Health and human services (hhs),and Health resources and services administration (hrsa). A significant number of our visits are provided at a deep discount and in many instances free. Because of our fqhc status we are not allowed to turn away patients, therefore, we are reimbursed for these losses by a grant from the federal government and charity care grant from the new york state department of Health.
