Journalism and Women Symposium advances the professional empowerment and personal growth of women in journalism, advocates for more inclusive coverage of the diverse experiences and cultures that comprise our society, and supports a more accurate portrayal of the whole society. JAWS developed a health reporter fellowship in partnership with the Commonwealth Fund and formed new partnerships with industry and collegiate groups.
