Program areas at JRF Outreach
The goal to educate, equip and empower our youth has been established throughout and afterschool mentorship programs serving approximately nearly 400 youth in ouachita and morehouse parish. Summer reading and enrishment programs have grown by extending sessions to sites across the parish, narrowing the reach to the community and provide necessary resources.
The endeavor to bring schools, colleges and municipalities, churches and government to establish a community coalition that increased awareness is being brokered through programs and resources that equips its members social, psychological, financial, mental and spiritual stability.
The goal is to reach out to intergenerational, intercommunal, and interdisciplanary endeavors has been accomplished through of network with other nonprofit organizations that serve our community's youth, seniors and community centers. The organizations have extended our reach and thereby has helped to bridge gaps between generations and establish lines of communication to start the conversation as to who we all can effectively change and self-sufficienty to all people. By supporting agencies and programs that provide resources to areas who lack access due to lack of education, transportation, or impoverishment, we are creating healthy and safe environments to make better decisions and other opportunities to a better quality of life.
