The mission is to provide a comprehensive program of human services addressing the needs of the homeless, disadvantaged, and marginalized people of pittsburgh in a welcoming atmosphere that extends dignity and respect to every guest. Its principal activity is the "Jubilee soup kitchen," which provides meals and other food, clothing, personal hygiene items to needy individuals 365 days a year. It also operates the "Jubilee food pantry" which provides food to needy individuals and families, a jobs center, a preventing homelessness program and financial counseling, and other social services.
