Program areas at Junction City Local Aid
We maintain a food pantry that provides fresh meat, produce, dairy and all essential needs in a client's home. We also provide clothing and service referrals for all other needs. We also provide pet food, pharmacy assistance and bus tokens.
In order to provide the essential needs of clients, we must have a facility that brings safety, shelter and dignity to all of our clients. These are the costs of maintaining that facility. This includes the repair of our company truck which is used every week to gather food and supplies for our clients.
Provided balanced nutritious meals to approximately 400 people who would not have had these meals due to financial emergency. For a lot of these families, they are unable to come to the pantry in person for health related reasons. Because of this, we have developed a Food Delivery Program for those who are physically unable to come to our location.
