Program areas at Juneau Mountain Rescue
During 2023, Juneau Mountain rescue(jmr) conducted twenty Rescue missions throughout southeast Alaska. In addition to search and Rescue, jmr provided public education in joint sessions with u.s. coast guard, ski patrol, seadogs and ccf/r special teams. Jmr also provided backcountry safety training for the northern southeast Alaska area.
Juneau Mountain Rescue trained all team members and candidates in life- saving medical, avalanche, search and rope Rescue skills.
