Junior Achievement of Brazoria County

Junior Achievement Brazoria County has educated over 350,500 youth in financial literacy, entrepeneurial and work readiness programming for over the past 65 years. Junior Achievement helps to bring the many ja programs to Brazoria County youth, awarding the students for their dedication to academics as they learn valuable real-life lessons for their future success. Through ja the students of today are learning how to be valued employees of tomorrow, as well as learning how important basic money management is to their future. Although our numbers during the 2020-2021 school year were reduced due to the pandemic, ja volunteers still engaged 3,511 students in 14,672 hours of activity-based lessons in 174 classrooms across the County. These interactions enabled children to have unique experiences to help them "realize what drives economic success, so they can perpetuate it in the future."
