Junior Achievement of Eastern North Carolina

Junior Achievement of Eastern nc develops and coordinates high quality economic education in 20 counties of nc (caswell, chatham, cumberland, durham, edgecombe, granville, greene, harnett, johnston, lee, lenoir, moore, nash, orange, person, pitt, sampson, wake, wayne, and wilson) facilitating programs through partnerships in the business and educational communities. Ja programs and volunteer role models provide students with critically important curriculum centered around three pillars of learning: workforce readiness (providing positive reinforcement of career aspirations) financial literacy (an understanding of money management) and entrepreneurship (the benefits of business ownership). More than 250 ja volunteers led more than 12,500 students through ja age specific programs (kindergarten through high school) during the 2023-2024 academic year.
