Program areas at Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland
Junior Achievement's elementary school programs are the foundation of its k-12 curricula. Seven sequential themes each with five hands-on activities work to change students' lives by helping them understand business and economics. These programs include: ja ourselves ja our families ja our community ja our city ja our region ja our nation and ja more than money. 6,692 elementary school students were served during fiscal year 22-23.
As high school students begin to position themselves for their future there are many questions about what lies ahead. Ja's high school programs help students make informed intelligent decisions about their future and foster skills that will be highly useful in the business world. These programs include: ja be entrepreneurial ja excellence and ethics ja company program ja titan ja career success ja personal finance ja job shadow ja launch lesson and ja economics. 3,945 students were served during fiscal year 22-23. Junior Achievement also provides capstone experiences for students in high school through ja inspire and the stock market challenge.
Middle grade programs build on concepts which students learned in ja's elementary school programs and help teens make difficult decisions about how best to prepare for their educational and professional future. The programs supplement standard social studies curricula and develop communication skills that are essential to success in the business world. These programs include: ja global marketplace ja economics for success ja it's my future and ja it's my business. 2,395 middle school students were sercved during fiscal year 22-23. Junior Achievement also provides capstone experiences for middle school students through ja inspire.
