Junior Achievement of Maine inspires and prepares young people with the skillsets and mindsets to build thriving communities through work and career readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship education. We play a critical role in addressing the skills, wealth, and opportunity gap in maine.junior Achievement of Maine partners with school districts to deliver learning experiences to kindergarten 12th grade students across Maine. These experiential, hands on experiences help students build financial stability, connects them to real life skills and careers, ignites youth entrepreneurship, and cultivates engaged community members. Junior Achievement empowers students to make connections between what they learn in school and how it can be applied in the real world. This approach enhances the relevance of their classroom learning and demonstrates the power of education in future endeavors. Junior Achievement of Maine is at no cost to our educational partners. During the 2023-24 academic year, we partnered with 176 schools and 677 community mentors to deliver learning experiences to 13,350 students across Maine.
