Junior Achievement of Maine inspires and prepares young people to own their economic success. It partners with businesses, non-profits, and educators to deliver impactful experiences to K-12 students statewide, promoting entrepreneurship, workforce readiness, and financial literacy skills. Through volunteer-delivered, experiential programming, Junior Achievement of Maine offers hands-on education opportunities for students from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Junior Achievement of Maine proactively partners with businesses, non-profits, and educators to create and deliver quality driven, impactful, relevant experiences to kindergarten -12th grade students statewide, resulting in economically self-sufficient citizens capable of leading choice-filled lives. Community volunteers bring ja's innovative programs to life, adding in their unique life and work experience to the lessons, and inspiring and preparing students to make connections between what they are learning in school to a future career path. During fy22, ja continued to pivot their resources and model to help educators, parents, and students navigate the world of distance-learning. They continue to develop and enhance their learning experiences for in person and virtual delivery to meet the changing needs in education, so students can continue to gain skills and competences in work and career readiness, financial decision making, and entrepreneurial mindset. All learning experiences are delivered by volunteer mentors who help raise aspirations and empower students to plan for successful futures.
