Program areas at Junior Hero
Junior Hero program was implemented in elementary schools throughout Arizona. Thousands of students completed the program and were recognized for their service and commitment with awards including t-shirts and other prizes.in 2018 15 schools were part of the program. Approximately 2,000 k-6 students participated in the program resulting in about 16,000 hours of random acts of kindness.
Junior Hero administers a free program to elementary schools that encourages students to uplift others and themselves through thoughtful acts of kindness and service. By taking a simple pledge, documenting service hours, and submitting a service log to their teachers, students earn a Junior Hero t-shirt, recognition, and a prize. The Junior Hero program served 20 schools during the tax year, where over 2,500 students participated in an estimated 20,000 hours performing random acts of kindness.
