Program areas at Juniper Park Civic Association

Publication of the Juniper Berry,a community publication of events circulated quarterly throughout the year. The Berry contains articles about community issues and events, the people and history of the community. Articles are written by residents and about the Middle Village and Maspeth community area. Issues of significance around the city are also spotlighted. Historic photos and articles about "Then and Now" are among the favorite stories and of great interest to readers. Past residents stay connected through this popular publication as well.
Community improvement programs and events, including park maintenance, community and graffiti cleanup, volunteering and civic meetings to discuss issues surrounding the community. In 2022 community activities continued, and the community is active again. JPCA returned to conducting meetings in person. The summer concert series were once again showcased and brought out so many in the community.
