Just Keep Livin Foundation

After school programs:the Just Keep Livin Foundation implements after school fitness and wellness programs in 45 inner city high schools. In our programs, we encourage students to make positive life choices that improve their physical and mental health through exercise, teamwork, gratitude, nutrition, and community service. Our prescription is to prevent so we don't have to cure later in life.accomplishments (con sch o):1) 45 schools are part of the program 2) served over 3000 students in 14 cities3) end of year student survey resultsa) fitness: 95% of jkl students get more exercise since joining the program (pre covid, also at 95%)b) nutrition: 94% of jkl students make healthier choices since joining the program(pre covid, also at 94%)c) gratitude: 83% saw an increase in the amount of gratitude shown in their daily lives (90% pre covid)d) self-esteem: 70% have more confidence and self-esteem (86% precovid)e) giving back: 72% participated more in community service (94% pre covid)f) retention: 100% of jkl students stayed in schoolg) graduation: 99% of 12th grade jkl students graduatedh) attendance: 93% improved or maintained their attendancei) behavior: 99% decreased their number of referrals or had no referralsj) academics: 91% improved or maintained their grade
