Alternatives to detention: 1247 youth were impacted by the alternatives to detention project in chihuahua, durango and mexico city, mexico. Our probation transformation project was fully implemented in chihuahua and replicated in durango. Our re-entry services model was piloted and implemented in chihuahua and began replication in durango. We monitored detention conditions on mexico city and chihuahua, improving the lives of youth in detention centers.
Mobilize and empower: 445 youth served in mexico. Mobilize and empower projects were conducted in chihuahua, durango, and mexico city, mexico and included providing 40 families with transportation, delivering over one thousand donated items, providing support to youth and families of youth re-entering society after incarceration.
