Program areas at K-Connect
In 2023, kconnect launched a strategic effort to cast a vision for the organization's next five years, culminating in the common agenda and roadmap 2.0. This document is fundamental to our organization and visualizes past and current tensions, challenges, and accomplishments to facilitate better understanding by internal teams. In addition to the internal work of the 2.0, the kconnect backbone team launched a three-year plan to move kconnect from design to action. This plan includes the implementation phase of the cross-cutting workgroups, specifically the policy and advocacy and community engagement groups (also known as pace). Additionally, kconnect will launch at least 100 initiatives through its align and design teams. Central to this work are three core principles: 1. We will be curious, 2. We will be creative, and 3. We will be courageous. Other accomplishments include launching a nationally recognized documentary and connect us, a consulting wing that will help diversify kconnect's revenue sources.
