Program areas at KFB
The Kansas Farm Bureau county enhancement program provides funds to the county Farm Bureau 501(c)(5) associations. These funds are used to help fund programs and activities at the county level that support both associations and Kansas Farm Bureau's mission.
Kansas Farm Bureau's voice of agriculture radio program is a broadcast-delivered communications program that reaches all 105 counties throughout Kansas. The voa message sponsored by the farmers and ranchers of Kansas Farm Bureau provides our target listeners (adults 18+) with relevant agriculture-related information and issues. The audio programs provide target listeners with vital national and statewide agriculture news and issues that impact agriculture and the lives of people across Kansas. The audio programs are aired five days per week (m-f), 52 weeks, 40,000 times per year (minimum). The programs air between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. across the state. Running on 75+ stations throughout Kansas, this message will reach on average over 1 million people this year.
Kansas Farm bureaus Farm leader letter is a hard copy newsletter that keeps voting members informed on issues that impact their farms and ranches. From oct. 1, 2022, to sept. 30, 2023, the leader letter was published 10 times. For the months february, may, august and november, fll reached approximately 75,000 Farm Bureau members in Kansas per Kansas living issue. For the remaining months, fll reached an average of 30,000 households per publication. Every issue contains updates on legislative action that impacts Kansas farmers and ranchers as well as important updates and information regarding their Farm organization. Kansas Farm bureaus Kansas living magazine is published quarterly and reaches more than 75,000 Farm Bureau members in Kansas. From oct. 1, 2022, to sept. 30, 2023, the magazine was published four times. Each issue contains recipes the whole family can enjoy, events and places to visit in Kansas and interesting farmer and agricultural stories.
