Program areas at Katahdin Friends
KFI provides community, home and employment supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities under section 20, 21 & 29 waivers. These services include, but are not limited to, supporting individuals to engage in their community, utilizing natural resources and developing and strengthening relationships throughout their lives. Support in all aspects of living are provided including assistance with shopping, home maintenance, self-care, health and safety, leisure pursuits, volunteering and employment. An average of 70 individuals in Penobscot County and the greater Portland region are served.
