Program areas at Kauai Planning and Action Alliance

Kpaa continues the Kauai resilience project, a collective impact initiative to reduce youth suicide by building youth resilience factors & assets. We advocate and work to increase after school opportunities for youth, positive adult relationships and strengthening social-emotional learning by offering free events to families. We offered several parent education workshops and our first mental health conference.we provided maternal and child health supplies through over 65 Kauai programs. Finally, kpaa works to coordinate the early childhood education system on Kauai to increase access to quality preschool.
