Program areas at Kauai Planning and Action Alliance

Kpaa continues the Kauai resilience project, a collective impact initiative to reduce youth suicide by building youth resilience factors & assets. We advocate and work to increase after school opportunities for youth, positive adult relationships and strengthening social-emotional learning. We also provede maternal and child health outreach and resource navigation services for the general public and for the marshallese population specifically. Finally, kpaa works to coordinate the early childhood education system on Kauai to increase access to quality preschool.
