Programming and production - we are dedicated to creating original programs that reflect the diversity of the region, as well as sharing the full schedule of PBS programs that viewers love and trust. We tell stories that matter through our award-winning content that covers a wide variety of important topics with series like artbound, lost la, variety studio: actors on actors and earth focus.

Public information - program guides for PBS Socal, and Kcet are published on their respective websites that are available to the general Public. Additionally, in 2023 a quarterly trifold publication was mailed to all Kcet and PBS Socal members highlighting various upcoming programs, community events and initiatives as well as featuring editorial letters from various staff members and station talent. Marketing materials are produced that highlight various educational PBS programs (both on-air and in-person) which result in building awareness of the organization's commitment to keeping the community informed and engaged. Viewers can also sign up to receive the weekly PBS socal/kcet membership email newsletter as well as weekly email blasts.

Distribution - PBS Socal and Kcet are available to nearly 19 million people in Southern California across 7 content channels for free over-the-air. The library of PBS and Kcet original programs are also available to stream anytime and anywhere at pbssocal.org, kcet.org, and mobile and connected device platforms through the PBS and PBS kids video apps available to download for free on the following platforms: ios and android devices, roku, samsung, apple TV, android TV, youtube TV, fire TV, and chromecast.
