Eea (formerly keef) is a 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated with The purpose of increasing The Energy Efficiency of Pennsylvania's buildings through education and awareness. Eea's mission is to champion Energy Efficiency as The foundation of a clean, just and resilient Energy economy. Eea educates The public about Energy conservation and Efficiency; provides forums for sharing best practices; provides rapid information-exchange platforms to keep abreast of Energy Efficiency developments as they happen; promotes feedback mechanisms on market transformation activities in The field; and coordinates with its affiliated statewide trade associations, keea and eea-nj (keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance and Energy Efficiency Alliance of new jersey) to monitor and support Energy Efficiency policies, regulations, and legislation at local, state, and federal levels. Eea's key initiatives in 2023 focused on workforce development, outreach and education for municipal governments, crafting Energy Efficiency success stories, educational events tied to heat pumps, and convening and educating networks of contractors.
