Keep Austin Beautiful

Keep Austin Beautiful's education programs emphasize service-learning and creative problem solving. Through engaging interactive projects our educators teach students about recycling water quality habitat conservation and much more inspiring the next generation of sustainability leaders. We also offer resources for independent learning. Presentations and activities provided to students K-12 include clean creek campus generation zero green teens patch pals and activity kits. The organization also honors the most outstanding environmental efforts of individuals schools and organizations through awards.

Volunteering with Keep Austin Beautiful is a fun and rewarding way to help care for the local environment. Community programs include picking up litter restoring waterways planting trees building and maintaining public gardens removing invasive plants and more. Community members can volunteer in one of our existing programs get more involved by becoming a volunteer project leader or organize their own project with our free resources and support. The organizations involve the local community in cleanup and beautification events and activities such as Keep Austin Beautiful Day Community Cleanups Adopt A Creek and Adopt A Street.
