Program areas at Keep Washington Competitive
Kwc has worked to educate the public and policy makers on the importance of regulatory certainty for the future of our state's economy. For example, kwc cohosted an "olympia day" event with the wa maritime federation. Event included 40 plus business, trade and labor leaders who attended a luncheon and participated in discussions on three policy issues of importance to the coalition.
Participated in a Washington, dc fly-in that included several kwc members. Our goal was to highlight key regulatory issues.
Completed a study on Washington's competitiveness. The study made policy comparisons between Washington and other states and british columbia. Kwc released the study with a media conference that included several advisory board members.
