In 2023, major program advances for public education about drivers license security for programs to prevent child identity theft and counteracting counterfeit IDs, aka Dont Buy that Fake ID, Keeping IDentities Safe dba Coalition for a Secure Drivers Licenses President completed work as:1.Co-Exhibitor with Document Security Alliance (DSA) at National Council of State Legislators urging action on child identity theft prevention.2.Co-draft white paper with DSA urging states to improve drivers license counterfeit resistance (Counterfeiting of Drivers Licenses: An Increasing Threat to the United States and What To Do About It) 3.Panel participant at American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) law enforcement Workshop addressing action regarding counterfeit drivers licensesincluding new threats from China (Orlando, FL; March 22-26, 2022). 4.Presented State Award to New York Department of Motor Vehicles for drivers license improvements (Albany, NY; December 15, 2022)5.Ongoing work with Boys & Girls Clubs to prevent child ID theft.
