Description
The Kennebunk Land Trust permanently conserves and stewards land to benefit natural and human communities. It protects over 3,400 acres of upland forest, coastal marsh, and agricultural fields through ownership, conservation easements, and partnerships. The Trust manages more than 300 acres of conservation easements for private landowners and actively engages in the acquisition, management, and transfer of environmentally sensitive land. Additionally, it monitors, inspects, and enforces conservation easements to ensure the preservation of the area's special natural identity.
