The Kentucky State Beekeepers Association educates beekeepers, board of directors and members on improving colony and queen health, increasing honey yields, raising the number of honey bee colonies and being prepared for new threats to honeybees. They hold periodic seminars throughout Kentucky, offer training schools, hands-on beekeeping field days and publish materials to educate both new and experienced beekeepers. Additionally, they serve as a honey cooperative where members can sell their honey at the Kentucky State Fair and other conferences.
