Kids Care Everywhere

Program services were conducted in one country, Peru. This included training and distributing DynaMed medical software to 5 hospitals In addition, KCE focused its efforts in renewing the DynaMed software licenses virtually to users in the areas that KCE serves. These licenses spanned multiple countries. KidsCareEverywhere's mission is saving children's lives, by empowerment of physicians in under-resourced environments with multi-media, state-of-the-art medical software, and through inspiration of young professionals to become future global healthcare leaders. With software donated to us, KidsCareEverywhere works with local health leaders to provide cost effective, sustainable and reproducible interventions.KCE's primary program is to distribute medical software and to train doctors and medical professionals in their use in clinical practice. KCE is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to transforming pediatric care in under resourced communities by enabling doctors and medical professionals to care for sick children more effectively and at lower cost. Further information can be found at our website at www.kidscareeverywhere.org. We do this by donating medical software called DynaMed, and training doctors and medical professionals in their use. This software is available primarily as a mobile application, resident on a smartphone. We also distribute a web based version of DynaMed, for use on laptops and desktop computers, useful particularly in hospital settings. DynaMed is gifted to KCE by EBSCO Health, Ipswich, Ma. During the fiscal year 202-2023, KCE volunteer teams trained over 360 doctors across 5 hospitals and clinics in Peru. In Lima, Peru, the large hospital visited was Hospital Dos de Mayo - Peru's oldest public hospital. Also in Lima, KCE visited a maternal and child clinic, Centro Materno Infantil Virgen del Carmen. In the northern Cajamarca region, the three hospitals visited were Hospital Regional Docente, Hospital Simon Bolivar, and Universidad Nacional. The KCE team in total trained over 360 clinicians in a two week timeframe, and gave DynaMed software access to their smartphones and laptops. The KCE team consisted of three board members- two of who are physicians- and our program director.
