Program areas at Kinderhaven Foundation

The Kinderhaven Foundation is dedicated to supporting children and families in crisis within bonner and boundary counties. In response to the families first preservation services act, we have transformed into a grant-making organization, utilizing community generosity to empower local entities dedicated to child and family welfare. By leasing our Kinderhaven home to bonner homeless transitions, we proudly facilitate the area's first women's and children's crisis shelter, addressing urgent needs arising from violence and poverty. As we move forward, the Foundation is committed to funding initiatives that address housing, food, medical, and mental health crises through strategic community grants.
