Program areas at King Turkey Day
The annual King Turkey Day parade is the showcase event that draws crowds of over 20,000 people to watch the 2-mile long procession of local people, bands and organizations. The event is free to attend and promotes the sense of community that King Turkey Day is all about.
The pancake breakfast is a Turkey Day tradition that brings thousands from the community into the firehall where volunteers prepare donated breakfast foods and serve the community a free breakfast.
The King Turkey Day mixer is a community event that welcomes our sister city to town, recognized community members during a program that honors volunteers and outstanding community-minded people and businesses, and encourages the community to gather for a free meal.
