The trust provides financial support for the people and programs of its largest supported 501(c)(3) organization that serve america's urban poor, world impact, inc., which received $335,000. Organizations similar in mission to world impact received grants as follows: city to city los angeles received $75,000. Urban youth workers institute received $25,000.
The trust provides financial support for organizations that provide leadership development, compassion ministry and/or christian evangelism. $10,000 funded grace church long beach. Covenant house received $5000, dsf works $5000. Wycliffe bible translators received $3,000 for its bible translation work. One collective (beards) working in vietnam received $10,000 and uim international (blairs) working in macedonia received $2000. The gathering received $1000, govern for impact association received $1000, and long beach rescue mission received $1000. Through our daf, national christian Foundation, the trust funded the finishing fund $10,000, priority living, inc. $5,000, the barnabas group orange county $2,000, and greater union baptist church $3000. Long beach church collective received $110,000 to provide a matching grant for funds raised by the lb church collective to create a multi-year project providing mental health support for pastors in the long beach/los angeles communities. Eric marsh is the executive director of the long beach church collective.the trust also provided grants to organizations that provide christian and values based education. Westmont college received $5,000 and biola university $5,000 to fund under-represented students, as administered through their own scholarship programs. Loyola high school received $3,400. The trust's managing trustees are also officers and/or directors of charitable organizations that are supported by the trust. Alvin sanders is president of world impact inc., larry acosta is past president of hispanic ministry center inc. dba urban youth workers institute, and director of city to city los angeles. Eric marsh is the executive director of the long beach church collective. Other trustees serve on the board or provide services to our supported organizations. Carl labarbera is chairman of world impact, and robin labarbera provides program evaluation services to world impact's board of directors.
The trust provides financial support for 501(c)(3) organizations that provide homes for the poor in mexico and latin america. The trust funded rocky peak church $15,000, ywam $10,000, spectrum ministries $6,600, and moraga valley presbyterian church $10,000.
